Studio, vehicles and buildings nowadays use insulating glass as screen and divider. What are insulating glasses exactly? In a world of glass, insulated glass is composed of two or more layers in a single order. Among those glass, there is a gap containing air or may be given special glass that is sealed with special glue. This glass can be utilized as a reduction in noise pollution such as the low frequency noise caused by moving vehicles, the sound produced by humans and the high frequency of aircraft noise. This frequency ranges between 1000-2000 Hz. The air vacuum that exists between the two glasses can reduce the sound waves.

Insulating glass can be used to make a room soundproof with the right type of thickness. According to the research lab insulated glass can reduce noise pollution from 30-40 db (decibels). Insulated glass has a better ability to reduce heat and noise as well as lighter than bricks and concrete. To meet the needs of electricity savings in buildings, suitable for use in restaurants, airports, hospitals, laboratories, television as well as luxury homes and more insulated glasses are used. Although it may be more expensive than other architectural glass, many companies and institution use it out of its benefits.

Insulating glasses are mostly used for special application over its feature. This glass is stronger than normal glasses because of its double or more glazing, making it thicker and stronger although there is a gap of air between two or three layer of glasses. It has more protection from scratches on the surfaces. This glass has so many uses for today’s purposes. It has many features can be used for any kind of activity and production, or even just for home living. Someday all kind of regular glass may be replaced with this glass.
